The weddings on!  Grab your river shoes and your spf 45 sunblock.  Welcome to the River Rendezvous Wedding at the River Ranch in Noel.  Let the wedding bliss begin…

Funny story…I’ve never been to Noel before and you know how you create what a place will be like in your head.  Becca told me it was going to be a river float trip wedding, and that it was going to be in Noel.  (Remember I’ve never been to Noel before)  In my mind I’m picturing a small little cabin along side a river with an old guy in a rocker out front, maybe a straw hat on.  And as you pass by to go inside, he says “howdy”.  Maybe a few cabins and a little tent area by the river and  mostly just people there for the wedding.

Well, looking at the map, Noel, MO doesn’t look like much, but once we arrived….WOW!  First we pulled into a parking lot with cars everywhere, buses going in and out loaded with river goers.  Campsites all over, multiple buildings and what looked like different groups from all over.  I thought, WHERE did this ALL this come from?

The place is like a great big party and I think the wedding was the headliner.  So without further ado…..we present the River Rendezvous Wedding.

After a good nights camping, its rise and shine wedding goers for breakfast before the ceremony. 🙂

Here is your first tuxedo t-shirt sighting…..

Notice the sign:  You are almost there!

Ok, if you guys are going to do that I’ll just look the other way….

There it is, four layers of River Rendezvous cakeness!

This amazing custom cake starts out at the top with a canoe on a blue river of icing that extends all the way to the bottom layer! 😉

Each layer is its own theme that represents something cool about Shane and Becca.  (Brilliant!)

This was our first stop on our wedding tour this summer.  We were there as guests….but being the photogs that we are, I mean really, do we go very far w/o a camera…. or two and a half dozen lenes.  Certainly not when the bride and groom are as great as Maverick and Bridget.  As we were not the primary camera people our intent was to stay out of the way, and I think we were camera ninjas, (without the nunchucks of course),  check out True Inspiration’s Photography if interested in seeing more.  They did a great job and are very hard workers.

This was a great kickoff to the season and we also went on vacation right after….so we were totally PUMPED!
